Everyone was either playing hockey or watching the inauguration and therefore weren’t out making news. This is not necessarily a bad thing.
- One more time. Being put in military jail for changing your mind on killing Iraqis is persecution. Vietnam Mennonite pastors put in jail for practicing freedom of speech and activism is really, truly persecution. Being annoyed that you have to build your houses to code? Not persecution.
- Apparently all Canadian Mennonites were playing hockey this week.
- The Mennonites head to DC for a little party my city threw for the new guy. Although you didn’t have to be there to be happy about it.
