I don’t think I’m allergic to the bus per se. But someone has to explain to me why every day last week I managed to miss it by about 90 seconds. I walk out of my house and see it (and often another one right behind) pulling cheerfully away from my stop.
And — of course — of those two buses, one was the one I wanted and the other was the next scheduled one arriving early. Which means the next one is going to be late. Very late. And full. And stinky. Because while the DC bus system doesn’t want to kill me, it obviously hates me.

Isn’t there a number you can call that will tell you the time the bus will get to a particular station using GPS or something? I thought they had that feature, maybe not in Trinidad? If they do, you could just call that number every morning to see how much time you have. Just a thought.

I believe they delayed the full rollout of that because they had to fix something … they couldn’t complete it for some reason (probably money … they are spending all their cash on gas).
When you call the main number, they can tell you what time the bus is scheduled to come but not where it actually is at that moment. Which is not very helpful when you already know that one was supposed to come but didn’t.
