Since it’s winter in Antarctica and hard to get supplies down there, the US has shipped to the scientists their winter supplies.  Which includes 16,500 condoms.  For 125 people.

In case you can’t do math that quickly, that works out to about a condom and a half per day per person for the next three months.  Guess there’s not much else to do in the winter in Antarctica.
