Despite the new Madonna album dropping at the end of the month and the sad truth of my Miley Cyrus obsession, I’ve been listening to other stuff as well. My love affair with the movie Once is well documented but I’m liking most of the soundtrack (there’s a special fondness in my heart for “Broken-Hearted Hoover Sucker Fixer Guy”).
But now I’m totally into The Cave Singers — a band out of Seattle that’s kind of punk-folk-mountain-music. Listen to their stuff on MySpace or check them out (if you’re in DC) at the Rock and Roll Hotel on May 8.
