- MCC sales in urban areas: turns out that they are tough to get going. Who knew?
- Katie’s tired and she’s stirring up the SWM at YAR.
- Someone needs to start a blog called “Stuff White Urban Mennonites like” and #1 on the list should be gluten-free bread.
- Canadian Mennonites on cutting edge of community theatre …. and winning prizes in Mennonite-themed films. Lucky Canadian Mennonites.
- I knew this guy in college — and it’s a great article but it makes me depressed that I haven’t done crap with my life so far (see how it’s really all about me here?).
- I didn’t actually listen to this podcast but it looks like it could be funny, right?
- They’re reading about Amish Grace in Texas.
- Those DC & PG County people love themselves some Amish goodies. But don’t despair, those of you in Massachusetts, you can get some too.

I did … I thought it was hilarious! And then I get all curious … .Is she Mennonite? Do I know her? Does she know people I know? Why are they talking about Menno?
It also makes me think that those Denver Mennonites have way more interesting dinner parties than I do in DC.

So are a lot of us mennonites into gluten-free? I’m guessing celiac disease might be just one of the many deformities we have in our genetic code thanks to 500 years of inbreeding.
Thanks for the link!

We have several people in our congregation who are on wheat-free diets … so for communion there’s always the spelt bread line
I don’t think we’re the only urban Mennonite church that does it either.

If you’re into Amish and Pennsylvanian humor you’d love episode 84. They prank call a local McDonalds in that one. The one with the free uniform sign.
