Comments on commentating

February 3rd, 2008 · 2 Comments · Whatever ...

So here are the ground rules that I am operating under for interesting, interactive and inclusive conversation here on this blog.

  1. all are welcome to make comments; that doesn’t mean all comments are welcome so for goodness’ sake, think before you post something asinine.
  2. it isn’t a censored blog but it is a moderated blog. I’ll try not to be heavy-handed about it but comments that definitely will go away are anything that is racist, sexist and/or homophobic.
  3. I’m a little new to this (and still playing with options and settings) and part of my project for class is to figure out what works for my audience. So, it may be that I sway too heavily one way or another at times. Please feel free to correct me (although I would appreciate an email over comments) and I will attempt to swing back to the middle.

so during Bush’s various events in years past, when they only allowed his supporters in, were these events “moderated?”

Hey, I put your comment back in!

Maybe I got a little jumpy there (my mother looks at this blog, you know) but I have recognized the error of my ways and promise to be a good little urban Mennonite and not shy away from pictures of semi-naked men.
